Until release 12, Oracle Projects was not a perfect fit for Federal requirements. With release 12, Budgetary accounting entries can be created for all expenditures in Projects, allowing relief of your encumbrance entries. Now, Federal budgetary entries can be made for revenue, which are required for revenue accounting. These entries were designed with FASB compliance in mind.
