Project Partners is pleased to announce that our OP3 product, which provides bi-directional integration between the Oracle E-Business Suite Projects Applications and Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management applications, is now certified to work on all supported releases of these Oracle applications.<\/p>\n

OP3 is the only bi-directional integration product currently warranted to work with all releases of Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management and Oracle E-Business Suite Projects (Oracle Projects) Release 11.5.10.M through Release 12.1.3. OP3 integrates project structures, plans, budgets, and actual and committed costs. <\/p>\n

Project Partners offers two versions of OP3, and determining which one is right for you is as easy as answering this question:
\nAre you using the Oracle E-Business Suite Project Management module? <\/em><\/p>\n

For organizations using Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management and the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Project Management module (known to insiders as PJT), OP3 Release 3.5 is for you. <\/strong>  OP3 Release 3.5 links a project scheduled in Primavera with the project work plan in Oracle PJT. Depending on your Oracle project structure integration method, the work plan structure can be identical or different from the financial structure. In addition, you can opt to use either a fully shared structure or a mapped or fully split structure. Don\u2019t worry if you don\u2019t understand whether shared or split structures are best for your organization \u2013 we can advise you on that, too.<\/p>\n

OP3 allows you to utilize Primavera plan information to integrate into your project work plan and simultaneously into the financial plan. For example, suppose you are using a fully shared structure in Oracle. In that case, you can continue to use OP3 to allow your Primavera plan with the activity resource assignment information to drive the work plan schedule, financial cost plan, and forecast cost estimates based on the actual information captured in Oracle. In case of a non-shared Oracle Project structure, OP3 will continue to update the project work plan with the Primavera plan data.<\/p>\n

For those firms using Oracle EBS Project Costing without the Oracle EBS Project Management module, OP3 Release 2.5 is the appropriate choice. <\/strong>This product version delivers structure integration between the Primavera WBS and Oracle EBS Financial Structure. Planning data is linked between the Primavera Plan and the Cost Budget in Oracle Projects. In addition, project Schedule updates will automatically flow from Primavera to Oracle Projects’ financial structure.<\/p>\n
