FICO, a leader in decision management, transforms business by making every decision count. Many leading banks and credit card issuers rely on FICO solutions, as do insurers, retailers, healthcare organizations, and other companies. Because of this, the FICO Business Services department determined that they needed a project resource solution that would securely and efficiently manage their internal software and consulting services activities.
FICO utilized Oracle for budget entry, however forecasts were maintained in an off-line, non-integrated solution of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft SharePoint. Duplicate entries caused mass data integrity issues and maintenance of disparate systems became costly. With over 1,000 Project Managers at FICO, they needed a simple user interface tool to help to manage projects.
Solution:
Project Partners provided a solution, based on Oracle Project Resource Management and Financial Plans, to support their cost tracking requirements and Discoverer reporting re-design. In addition, Project Partners successfully developed and deployed a complex global security model across multiple business groups.
Outcome:
As a result of a follow-up project, Project Partners implemented the User Interface Applications (UI-Apps) solution that simplified their complex system and enabled FICO to be more efficient with budgeting and forecast entries worldwide.
