    Geokinetics is one of the largest independent, international land and shallow water geophysical service companies offering a broad range of specialized geophysical solutions to the petroleum and mining industries. Geokinetics has a need to collect time for 2,500 employees working in 29 countries worldwide using Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) to feed both Oracle Projects and payroll processing. Located in remote locations, 25-30 timekeepers have the challenge of collecting time and work location for work crews daily, without always having Internet access to Oracle Applications, and additionally needing access to accurate accrual of time-off balances. The timekeepers themselves also need to enter their own time on individual timesheets. This session will describe how Geokinetics addressed these challenges for timekeeper and individual employee time entry using OTL and a Microsoft-Excel based worksheet.
